We are a small non registered Cattery in Alberta Canada, specialising in Scoyttish Fold and Munchkin Kittens.We breed for Health first, and Temperment. Cuteness just comes naturally! All our kittens are raised under foot, with free reign of the house, and lots of love. They are  socialized with  kids, and dogs, as well.

History of the Munchkin

The Munchkin  is a result of a spontaneous change in genetics. It occurs naturally. This  gene which is similar to that seen the Dachshund, Bassett Hound, and the Corgi. This gives the Munchkin a similar body with short legs.

In 1983, Sandra Hochenedel found a pregnant black female with short legs living under a pick-up truck in Rayville, Louisiana. She took the cat  home and named her Blackberry. One of Blackberry's kittens, a male named Toulouse, was given to Kay LaFrance, who established a colony of Munchkins on her Louisiana plantation. Most Munchkins are descendents of Blackberry
